I am really very excited about the 2008 Olympic Games for a number of reasons.  China is a fascinating country with an incredible history and a turbulent future ahead. The rapid growth phase they are currently experiencing is not over yet.  

There is no doubt that the Olympic Games is inspirational.  Watching our athletes pushing their personal limits, succeeding and standing on the podium makes me feel all warm and fuzzy and proud to be an Australian. 

There are some great books now available that will get kids and adults excited.  All school children will now be learning about China.  My six year old has already asked me if we can go….now that would be nice!
