Rated 9 / 10This moving account was based on the pursuit of an illegal fishing vessel which resulted in the longest chase in maritime history covering 4,000 nautical miles. The Uruguayan flagged, Pescador, was spotted fishing illegally in waters off Heard Island by Australian patrol boat, Australis. The master of Pescador sets an escape course south directly into a violent storm. The Australis was given strict instructions to follow. This is a story of love, friendship and loss, which kept me interested from beginning to end.
